ROBOTICS: PARTS HANDLING

ADHESIVE STATION

Station for the application of glue dots and glue beads

AuTech Roboter Klebestation

AuTech robot gluing stationThe components are moved into the system on a WT via a Bosch transfer system. An industrial robot positions the components under a Vieweg glue dispenser.

Either a glue dot or a glue bead can be applied via the “External TCP Function”. The geometries are transferred to the robot by simply reading in CAD data.

LADDER TREAD HANDLING

Handling of aluminum profiles – ladder treads

Aluminum profiles with a length of 300 – 750mm are taken from a profile saw and inserted into a punching machine and removed again after the punching process.

After that the punching burr is brushed off by rotating brushes.
The finished ladder tread is stacked into a provided pallet.

BLOWING MACHINE REMOVAL

Removal of blow molds

1000x30x15mm from a blow molding machine in a clean room.

Blow-molded hollow bodies are produced in a blow-molding machine and are removed from the mold under cleanroom conditions and placed on a conveyor belt.

TUBE PROCESSING CELL

Two bending machines, AuTech AS60 pipe cutting machine and AuTech coil upsetting machine

A Yaskawa Motoman MH12 robot alternately unloads two bending machines and feeds the bent tubes first to the AuTech AS60 tube cutting machine and then to the AuTech coil upsetting machine.

The upset collar is checked for roundness and diameter by a camera system.

BAG PACKING

Robot cell for packing PE bags into outer cartons

PE – film bags are produced on a film sealing machine (Hudson-Sharp) and provided on pins as so-called “wickets” of the robot system for packing into outer cartons.

Specifications:

  • 80 different bag formats
  • 22 different carton sizes
  • Cycle time per wicket less than 30 seconds
